Sarah joined The Hoffman Company as a Broker Associate in2014 and has since successfully closed more than $65 million in land transactions, representing over 2,000 residential units ranging from single-family to podium-style developments. She represents private landowners and local farming families, facilitating direct sales to both private and publicly traded homebuilders.
While Sarah’s primary focus is residential land development, her expertise also extends to commercial and industrial land assets, allowing her to offer clients a comprehensive understanding of Southern California’s dynamic real estate market.
Sarah’s deep roots in Southwest Riverside County trace back to the late 1800s, when her family—the Motte Family—pioneered and farmed much of the Perris Valley. Over generations, the family transitioned from agriculture to land sales and eventually into development, providing Sarah with valuable insight into the Inland Empire’s growth, land use trends, and community networks.
Leveraging her family’s legacy and extensive local relationships, Sarah is well regarded by landowners, consultants, environmental professionals, appraisers, law firms, and political leaders throughout Riverside County. She also manages her family’s portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial holdings, as well as The Motte Historical Museum, home to the Motte Family’s Classic Car Collection. Sarah played an instrumental role in establishing the museum as a nonprofit organization in 2008, preserving and celebrating the Motte family’s rich local heritage (mottemuseum.com).
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University and holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License. She is an active member of the Building Industry Association (BIA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), participating in both the Orange County and Inland Empire chapters.
An avid traveler who has visited more than a dozen countries, Sarah also enjoys snowboarding and golf. She resides in Riverside, California, with her husband, Ryan, and their two children.
